Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Dual Hotel Maintenance Worker, where you'll be the backbone of 2 property's operational excellence! In this vital role, you'll ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our hotel by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks. Your expertise will keep our facilities running smoothly, creating a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced, service-oriented setting while contributing to memorable guest experiences. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical equipment, and mechanical components. Repair and troubleshoot issues related to electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and building interior facilities using schematics, hand tools, and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters. Perform carpentry tasks such as maintenance painting, drywall repairs, door adjustments, and furniture fixes to uphold the hotel's aesthetic standards. Operate and maintain facilities equipment including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical panels, and other automation systems to optimize building performance. Manage plumbing system maintenance and repair to ensure water safety and efficiency across all hotel areas. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedule repairs, and document maintenance activities efficiently. Supervise or assist with projects involving welding, electrical work, or other specialized trades as needed while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Support team leadership by mentoring junior staff and coordinating maintenance schedules to minimize guest disruption. Respond promptly to guest requests or issues related to facilities maintenance with professionalism and a customer service mindset. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or building operations within a hospitality or manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC system repair, carpentry, welding, and general building interior maintenance. Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, CMMS software, and troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters. Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively for various repair tasks. Electrical experience including electrical equipment repair and electrical system troubleshooting. Knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repair techniques for residential or commercial settings. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and HVAC systems is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. Supervising experience is a plus; leadership skills help coordinate team efforts efficiently. Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
