Job Description:
A&A Tank Truck, a division of OMNI Environmental is seeking a highly motivated shop hand for its truck shop located in Gerty, OK. $16-$18 per hour depending on previous experience (no experience required, but we pay extra if you have mechanical experience!) Overtime pay of $22.50-$27.00 after 40 hours 12-hour shift, Day shift, 5 days per week Shop Hand must: Perform routine maintenance on fleet vehicles including but not limited to oil changes, tire changes, and service brakes, shoes and drums. Shop hands are responsible for the proper maintenance and repair of all company trucks and equipment, rolling fleet and related property. Clean-up around the shop as needed. Individual will maintain a clean, safe work environment at all times. Must follow company and HSE policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned. 12-hour shift, Day shift Holidays may be required Overtime available but not guaranteed Weekend availability is required
Job Requirements:
Must be able to use various means of communications including phone, email, text messaging, and have basic computer skills. Must be able to think and react quickly to changing situations and conditions and apply good use of judgement at all times. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent certification required. Previous mechanical experience not required. Must have ability to how to troubleshoot minor and repairs. Must possess a valid driver's license. Written and verbal skills required Basic knowledge of oilfield, trucking and logistic operations is a plus but not required. Able to stand; walk; use hands, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, twist, kneel, crouch or crawl. Ability to work in extreme hot and cold conditions. Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds. Willing to work rotating shifts including but not limited to days/nights/evenings/weekends/holidays. #TS-OMNI-NonDOT-AAT#
Wage Range:
16.00 - 18.00 per hour
