Job Description
The Port of Hood River is currently accepting applications for a full-time Facilities Worker position. This position performs a variety of custodial, grounds, maintenance, and repair duties across Port-owned properties, buildings, parks, and infrastructure. Facilities Workers may be assigned primarily to one area, such as janitorial services, waterfront and marina facilities, or industrial, commercial, airport, and other Port-owned properties, or may perform a broader range of duties across multiple areas, depending on operational needs. Building maintenance, construction, or skilled-trades experience is a plus. Duties may include janitorial services, groundskeeping, preventative maintenance, minor repairs, basic security tasks, and emergency response support. Work schedules and assignments may be adjusted seasonally and may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and participation in an on-call rotation.
