We're looking for a reliable, hard-working Maintenance Worker to join our Parks and Cemetery Department. You'll keep parks, cemeteries, medians, and public facilities looking their best — mowing, planting, repairing, and maintaining grounds and equipment. This is a hands-on, outdoor role ideal for someone who takes pride in their community and isn't afraid to work in all weather conditions.

Pay:

$18.00 per hour What You'll Do Grounds & Facilities Maintain parks, cemeteries, and medians — mowing, weeding, planting lawn, trees, shrubs, and flowers Maintain and assist in repair and installation of sprinkler systems Perform interior and exterior building maintenance — painting, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs Sweep, wash, paint, repair, or replace park tables and fixtures Collect and dispose of solid waste and litter from buildings and grounds Open, close, lock, and unlock facilities as needed Equipment Operation Operate, maintain, and repair tractors, mowers, chainsaws, weed eaters, light trucks, jackhammers, welders, steam cleaners, and other equipment Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally Follow all safety rules and procedures for work areas and equipment What You Need Valid driver's license Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform heavy manual tasks for extended periods outdoors Comfortable working in all weather conditions and on varied terrain Basic computer skills — word processing and spreadsheet applications Ability to follow written and oral instructions; strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable attendance and adherence to scheduled work hours #
