Seasonal Street Maintenance Worker

Position Overview We are seeking motivated individuals to assist with the repair, maintenance, and construction of public streets, sidewalks, rights-of-way, signage, pavement markings, and related infrastructure. This position involves outdoor work, equipment operation, and physical labor in a variety of weather conditions.

Pay:

$18.00 per hourQualifications Must be at least 18 years old Valid driver's license required Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 90 pounds with assistance Strong work ethic and commitment to safety Basic computer skills preferred Responsibilities Repair and maintain streets, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and pavement Perform crack sealing, pavement cutting, base repairs, and snow removal Assist with tree maintenance and removal activities Operate and maintain light and heavy equipment, including backhoes, loaders, chainsaws, and other tools Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs Respond to public service requests and maintain positive community relations Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas Assist with construction and maintenance projects as assigned Preferred Experience Street maintenance or road construction Heavy equipment operation Tree maintenance Use of hand and power tools Reading and following written and verbal instructions Work Environment Primarily outdoor work in varying weather conditions year-round Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and equipment operation Exposure to construction sites, uneven terrain, confined spaces, and other field conditions #PublicWorks #StreetMaintenance #ConstructionJobs #EquipmentOperator #GeneralLabor #SeasonalJobs #RoadMaintenance #MunicipalJobs #Infrastructure
