In this key role, you'll prepare vacant apartments for new residents — patching, painting, and refreshing rooms to reflect our "Art of Living" standard of quality care. What you'll do Complete room turns; patch and paint walls, refresh baseboards and ceiling tile, and prep surfaces for new flooring or wall coverings Handle light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks as needed Log turn time, equipment, and supplies in TELS Follow safety and chemical-handling procedures, including SDS documentation Respond promptly to maintenance needs and occasional building emergencies What you bring High school diploma or equivalent; trade or vocational experience preferred Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting Comfortable on ladders; able to lift up to 50lbs regularly (up to 100lbs occasionally) and stand/walk most of your shift Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills A patient, positive attitude and genuine interest in serving senior residents CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire) Ability to pass a background check and drug screening; flexibility for occasional weekends/holidays $35 per hour plus a very lucrative bonus structure Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability; vacation and sick leave.
