WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN TAKE OWNERSHIP OF A ROUTE
Golden Eagle Hardscapes is looking for a hard-working, dependable, and self-motivated Maintenance Route Laborer / Crew Lead to take responsibility for a lawn and landscape maintenance route. This is not a position for someone who needs to be told what to do every day. We are looking for someone who can show up, hook up a trailer, safely operate equipment, manage their route efficiently, and take pride in leaving every property looking its best. You will work independently most days, so reliability, time management, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are extremely important.WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Manage and complete an assigned lawn and landscape maintenance route
- Safely drive a company vehicle with a trailer
- Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment and materials
- Operate lawn care and landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
- Mow, edge, trim, blow, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas
- Perform seasonal property cleanups and general landscape maintenance
- Maintain flower beds and landscaped areas
- Identify areas that need additional attention and take initiative to address them
- Keep equipment, trailers, and work areas clean and organized
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Follow route schedules and complete properties within expected timeframes
- Communicate professionally with customers when needed
- Report property issues, equipment problems, or additional work opportunities to management
- Follow all company safety procedures and standards
- Represent Golden Eagle Hardscapes professionally while working in the field
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver's license
- Comfortable driving a truck/van with a trailer
- Comfortable backing and maneuvering a trailer
- Experience operating landscaping and/or construction equipment
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation to the shop/job site
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting equipment and performing labor-intensive work
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow a route and stay organized
- Professional attitude and good communication skills
