Compensation:
$22.00-$26.00/hr (based on experience) Part Time Day | Occasional Weekends and Holidays The Skilled Maintenance Worker is responsible for providing specific routine, preventive and corrective maintenance of community grounds and property to maintain a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors while providing cost effective maintenance programs.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required Two years of related experience preferred Formal or on-the-job training in plumbing, electrical, painting, maintenance, carpentry and general repair preferred Valid Driver's License required
Expectations and Responsibilities:
Repairs and maintains physical structure and systems of community. Maintains community grounds; may include lawn mowing, trimming, snow removal. Completes all assigned maintenance work orders. Repairs and maintains electrical and utility systems. Performs preventative maintenance. Maintains safety systems, such as: fire alarms, nurse call systems, security). Able to work independently or as part of a team. Effectively read and interpret documents and instructions. Capacity to effectively troubleshoot and problem solve.
