Property Maintenance Staff Job Duties:

Responsible for the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds to maintain proper care of all units and common areas. Respond to online maintenance requests from tenants and resolve in a timely manner based on priority level. Respond to Tenant Manager and Operations Manager requests, and coordinate status of tenant issues in a timely and professional manner. Work directly with tenants to ensure their issues are resolved timely. Ensure the outside of the property is maintained, including landscaping, snow removal, and garbage/trash removal through coordination with vendors. Coordinate quarterly inspections including fire, sprinkler, sewer maintenance, et al. with vendors. Coordinate unit turnovers including repair, painting, and cleaning of units.

Required skills and qualifications:

2 + years of related experience and/or training required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong verbal and social skills with the ability to work with tenants directly to handle any issues they may have. The ability to make tenants feel like their issues are important and will be resolved timely is very important. Medium general mechanical skills, with the ability to fix basic to medium size issues without the necessity to coordinate with vendors. Ability to coordinate with outside vendors for more complex issues. HVAC experience preferred. Valid Driver's License with vehicle required, Reside within 15 minutes of the Lancaster, PA area, and ability to pass a full background check. Flexibility with schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Hours are Monday•Friday 8:00 am•4:30 pm. Outside these hours are strictly if emergencies arise.
