Mount Pleasant, PA

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and general facility maintenance across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, dependable maintenance professional with strong troubleshooting skills and experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and machinery.

Identify potential issues before they become major problems and schedule preventive maintenance activities.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize downtime and keep equipment operating efficiently.

Maintain the physical integrity of the facility, including basic carpentry, painting, and general building repairs.

Diagnose and correct hazardous conditions and equipment malfunctions promptly.

Respond to emergency maintenance requests and provide timely solutions to protect personnel and minimize production interruptions.

Work closely with the manufacturing team to support production needs and reduce downtime.

Assist with facility upgrades, modifications, equipment installations, and improvement projects.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance area.

Monitor maintenance supplies, parts, and equipment inventory.

Track inventory usage and coordinate with purchasing to ensure necessary materials are available.

Document daily maintenance activities, work order resolutions, equipment repairs, and preventive maintenance.

Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and applicable building and safety standards.

Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Experience working with boiler and chiller systems.

Ability to use common precision measurement tools, multimeters, and basic machine shop equipment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manufacturer specifications, and electrical wiring diagrams.

Basic understanding of building codes, safety standards, and OSHA regulations.

Technical knowledge of industrial manufacturing facility equipment and systems.

Experience with slitting and coating processes is preferred.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and make sound decisions when addressing maintenance issues.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
