Job Description

York Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is committed to being the leading provider of quality long-term care and related healthcare services. Our caregivers will be encouraged to learn and develop their skills as a vital part of our healthcare team to participate and assist in the continual evolution of innovative healthcare services and practices. We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our committed staff and provide exceptional care to our residents. Duties and Responsibilities Report resident issues and concerns to the Director of Maintenance. Perform general and preventive maintenance, including minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and flooring repairs. Respond to work orders promptly and complete tasks according to assigned priorities and timelines. Maintain resident units, common areas, and exterior grounds; handle basic cleaning, trash, and recycling needs. Safely operate and maintain tools, equipment, and supplies while keeping work areas clean and organized. Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and regulations while communicating professionally with residents, team members, and vendors.
Required Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Maintenance:
