Part-Time Maintenance Assistant Flexible Schedule Fairview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable and motivated Part-Time Maintenance Assistant to help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in keeping facilities operating efficiently, we'd love to hear from you! Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs throughout the facility. Complete work orders in a timely manner. Assist with preventative maintenance of building systems and equipment. Perform painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs as needed. Maintain grounds and assist with seasonal maintenance, including snow removal and landscaping. Ensure compliance with all safety standards and facility policies. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Maintenance Assistant Qualifications Previous maintenance or building maintenance experience preferred. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems. Ability to safely operate hand and power tools. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
