As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, and efficiency of our facilities. We are seeking a motivated individual who is passionate about their work. Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, and repairing facilities to ensure a safe and clean environment for our residents and staff. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address potential hazards and areas for improvement. Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of equipment, machinery, and systems to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with the facilities team to develop and implement effective maintenance plans and schedules. Provide support to other departments as needed, including restorative care, therapy, and nursing. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. Maintenance Assistant Requirements Vocational training in a related field (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred. Prior experience in maintenance or a related field; prior experience in a healthcare setting desirable. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Physical ability to lift, bend, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
