$18-$20 Based on experience About the Position We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Hotel Maintenance Worker to join our team. This position is responsible for keeping the hotel, guest rooms, public areas, and equipment safe, clean, and in good working condition. The ideal candidate has general maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, takes pride in their work, and provides professional and courteous service to guests and coworkers. Responsibilities Respond to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff in a timely manner. Perform routine and preventive maintenance throughout the hotel. Repair basic plumbing issues, including toilets, faucets, drains, and fixtures. Perform basic electrical repairs, including light bulbs, switches, outlets, and fixtures as permitted by law. Perform minor HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance. Repair doors, locks, furniture, drywall, ceilings, and other building components. Complete painting, caulking, carpentry, and general repairs as needed. Inspect guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and equipment for maintenance or safety issues. Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies. Document completed repairs and preventive maintenance. Identify and report safety hazards or major repair needs to management. Assist with contractors and outside service providers when necessary. Respond to urgent maintenance and emergency situations. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Provide friendly and professional service to hotel guests. Follow all hotel safety policies and applicable regulations. Qualifications Previous maintenance, facilities, hotel, apartment, or building maintenance experience preferred. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general repairs. Ability to safely use hand and power tools. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Good communication and customer-service skills. Ability to prioritize multiple work orders and respond to urgent requests. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and supplies. Ability to climb ladders and perform physical maintenance tasks. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Preferred:
