Job Description
Works with maintenance crew on shoulders and ditches; cleans pipe, pipe ends; removes and replaces mailboxes, posts and highway signs. Works with maintenance crew on shoulders and ditches; cleans pipe, pipe ends; removes and replaces mailboxes, posts and highway signs. Flags traffic during road repairs to control flow of traffic, protect workers, equipment and general public. Operates chain saw and various hand tools in the clearing of right of way along ditches and highways. Assists in the removal of snow/ice and debris during inclement weather. Performs other related duties as assigned. There are no minimum training or experience requirements for this classification.
