Job Description
This position supports the Chief Building Engineer in the daily operation, maintenance, repair and optimization of all building systems within the commercial office building. You will work under the Chief Building Engineer to keep the facility running smoothly. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the maintenance of all building mechanicals, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and building automation systems.
- Perform routine inspections of the building equipment and identify maintenance needs.
- Respond promptly to building alarms and operational issues. Preventive Maintenance
- Assist Engineer in executing preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and equipment histories.
- Assist in developing maintenance strategies to extend equipment life (long and short term).
- Assist in all annual schedules, monthly schedules, etc., at Chief Engineer's direction. Tenant Services
- Maintain professional manner when communicating with tenants. Respond to tenant maintenance requests in timely manner and document all requests to PM and or APM.
- Provide excellent customer service. Repairs & Troubleshooting
- Assist in diagnosing mechanical & electrical issues.
- Assist in repairs of HVAC equipment, pumps, motors, lighting systems, plumbing fixtures, doors, ceilings, and other building components.
Education:
A diploma or certificate from a trade school like TCAT Nashville (ABIG PLUS
)Experience:
None required if you have the right technical schooling.Skills:
Good hand-eye coordination, basic tool skills, and a desire to learn.MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S
License with insurance. Must have a can-do positive attitude!Pay:
$22.50 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per weekBenefits:
