Job Description

Maintenance Technician First Cumberland Properties currently has an opening for a Maintenance Technician in Smyrna, TN. HVAC certification and knowledge is a must and apartment/ multi- housing property maintenance experience is required.

Property maintenance is required to:

Complete grounds work and work orders as directed by Property Manager.
Maintain community appearance and ensure repairs are noted and completed on timely basis. This requires regular community inspections.
Complete make-ready process of vacant apartments as directed by the Property Manager.
Complete a variety of interior and exterior repairs including: basic electrical, plumbing, drywall/paint, HVAC systems and appliances.
Maintain a professional courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance on-call service as scheduled.
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
Ability to balance multiple priorities.
Regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Frequently required to walk, climb or balance.
Frequently required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and on occasions, move more than 50 pounds.
HVAC certification required
Valid driver's license
Must have reliable transportation.
