Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team and ensure the optimal upkeep of buildings and outdoor grounds and facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and various equipment to create a safe, attractive, and functional environment. You will be making repairs to siding, trim,doors, etc. Your expertise in mechanical systems, landscaping, and outdoor maintenance will help us deliver a pristine and welcoming space for our community. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your outdoor work experience and technical skills in a dynamic setting. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, and planting bed care to enhance the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces Operate ground maintenance equipment such as power tools, and safely and efficiently Maintain hardscape features like walkways, patios, and retaining walls by performing repairs or cleaning as needed Conduct seasonal tasks such as occasional raking and cleaning house gutters Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuriesRequirements Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment Weekly pick up of residential trash Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and pesticide management practices Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions is essential Ability to perform grounds maintenance tasks such as trimming trees, making sidewalk and parking lot repairs, repairs on residential homes.
