• Generator and Power Equipment Turnkey Industries, LLC is a leading power generation company specializing in pre-owned industrial diesel and natural gas generators.

We are seeking a reliable Yard & Shop Helper to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in the generator and power equipment industry. Working primarily outdoors in a fast-paced environment, you will support technicians and yard personnel with equipment maintenance, organization, and daily operations.

Responsibilities:

Equipment Care:

Pressure wash generators, enclosures, and mechanical equipment.

Logistics Support:

Safely operate a forklift to assist with loading, unloading, and moving generators and related supplies.

Documentation:

Take clear photos of inventory and upload files to OneDrive.

Facilities Maintenance:

Sweep shop floors, organize parts, and maintain a clean, debris-free yard and workspace.

Team Assistance:

Support technicians, complete tasks assigned by the Yard Foreman, and help manage parts inventory.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Prior forklift operation experience is required.

Skills:

Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Work Environment:

Comfortable working independently in an outdoor environment subject to seasonal weather conditions.

Traits:

Reliable, punctual, and possesses a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift in an active industrial yard setting. Ability to safely lift and move objects up to 50 pounds unassisted. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
