Completes daily Maintenance Work Orders as assigned by supervisor. 2. Work orders to be completed per details. Deviation from assigned WO requires supervisor's approval. 3. Submits all completed work orders to supervisor with signature, date completed, and brief description of what was done. 4. Responds to after hour emergency repairs as directed by supervisor. 5. Identifies any safety hazards while completing routine work orders and repairs immediately. If unable to repair, notifies supervisor for further instructions 6. Assists with special projects (departmental moves, special event support, new program openings, office closures, etc.) as directed. 7. Assists with room set-ups as directed. 8. Provides back-up coverage for evening custodial position. 9. Clean debris and dust from the assigned areas. 10. Use specialized equipment such as blowers and mowers to perform cleaning and landscaping duties. 11. Perform both major and minor repair work around the building such as repairing locks and installing window blinds, etc. 12. Replace broken windows and door locks. 13. Remove signs of graffiti from walls and windows. 14. Replace bulbs and capacitors. 15. Ensure that control panels and electric locks are in proper working condition. 16. Inspect company equipment for possible problems and report findings. 17. Take measures to perform maintenance on equipment and tools. 18. Perform general maintenance on sanitary and mechanical systems of buildings. 19. Collect waste from ashtrays and bins and ensure proper waste management procedures are carried out. 20. Assist with construction or remodeling projects. 21. Maintain the overall condition of the building and grounds of all locations. 22. Make sure that the grounds are free of leaves at all locations. 23. Perform inspection of the premises and ensure that any hazardous conditions are immediately taken care of. 24. Any other duties as assigned. M ini m u m Q u a l i f ic at i o n s High School diploma or equivalent plus 1-2 years of experience in performing general maintenance repairs is required. Current knowledge of basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC is preferred. Candidate must have a valid driver license. Job Summary Under the general direction and supervision of the Director of Business Operations. The Maintenance Worker provides quality care and maintenance to all NTACHC clinic properties. Position Goal It is the duty and goal of the maintenance worker to ensure that NTACHC buildings are clean and maintained at all times. He/she is also responsible for ensuring that any potential hazards are taken care of and that acts of vandalism are handled properly.
