The primary function is to assist the ginner in making repairs and unchoking machinery and keep all areas clean. What to Expect in the

Role:

Operates gin stands/lint cleaners. Helps with any choke-ups or repairs. Watches for and safely removes tags from gin stands. Regular visual inspections of belts/pulley and other abnormalities. Reports any abnormalities to the ginner. Keep work area clean/blown down to assist sweeper. In charge of lint cleaners during clean up

What We Will Be Needing From You:

High school diploma, GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience in a cotton gin and mechanical aptitude is helpful. Knowledge of how cotton gin machinery works and the ability to unchoke and repair when necessary.
