Job Summary The Mechanic, General Maintenance PRN is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment. This role supports the daily operations of the facility by responding to maintenance requests, completing preventative maintenance tasks, and assisting other trades when needed. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility. Respond promptly to maintenance service calls, including hot/cold temperature concerns. Replace lighting fixtures, bulbs, and ballasts as needed. Complete minor repairs to facility equipment and building components. Replace ceiling tiles and perform minor window and roof repairs. Conduct daily rounds of the facility to identify and address maintenance or safety concerns. Assist other maintenance trades and departments when additional support is required. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications Education:

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred:

Graduate of trade or vocational school in related field

Experience:

Required:

2 years of experience with a contractor or work in another type of trade.
