Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Worker! You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities and outdoor spaces. Your expertise in mechanical systems, general maintenance will help create a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your diverse skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to the upkeep of our vibrant community. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC components. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming trees, planting flowers, and caring for gardens. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery including excavators for construction or landscaping projects. Maintain outdoor areas by performing lawn care, snow plowing during winter months, and irrigation system checks. Assist with hardscape projects like paving walkways or installing retaining walls to enhance outdoor aesthetics. Respond promptly to maintenance requests to ensure minimal disruption and uphold safety standards across the property. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. Experience with landscaping, gardening, and horticulture practices. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and operating equipment such as excavators. Knowledge of irrigation systems, snow plowing techniques, and pressure washing Familiarity with construction practices related to hardscape installation and general building maintenance. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges. Pay:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
