Facilities Maintenance Worker II

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled maintenance worker to join our team and ensure our hospital's infrastructure remains in optimal condition. Key Responsibilities Yard maintenance that includes mowing, weed eating, weed pulling and spraying. Back-up for Inventory when purchaser is gone. Maintain all yard equipment. Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls to ensure minimal disruption to hospital operations. Snow removal of all parking and sidewalks. Assist with the setup and maintenance of hospital equipment and furnishings. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and hospital policies. Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. Collaborate with other hospital staff to identify and address maintenance needs. Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager. Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school certification preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in building maintenance or related field. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
