Job Description

Job Summary Mojo Solutions and Services MSS LLC is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker to support the Weber Basin Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center in Ogden, UT. In this role, you will perform general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the center's buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure a safe and operational environment for students and staff.
Position Type:
Part-Time (Approx. 20 hours/week)
Contract Duration:
August 1, 2026 - July 31, 2027 (with a possible 6-month extension)
Location:
Ogden, UT (On-site at Weber Basin Job Corps Center)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repair of center buildings, grounds, and equipment. Execute basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical repairs, and electrical touch-ups. Conduct regular preventive maintenance rounds and maintain accurate records. Manage grounds upkeep and perform minor vehicle/equipment servicing. Efficiently complete work orders and maintain thorough work-order documentation. Support center safety inspections and strictly comply with Job Corps PRH and center safety policies. Job Requirements (Minimum Qualifications):
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of general building/facilities maintenance experience.
Skills:
Proven experience in general carpentry, plumbing, electrical repair, and safe tool/equipment operation.
License:
Valid driver's license (must be eligible to operate Government vehicles/equipment; fleet orientation per
FSH 7109.19
required).
Background Check:
Must be able to pass a Department of Labor (DOL) vetting and standard background check required for working with students BEFORE starting on center. Preferred Qualifications (Plus): Facilities maintenance experience at schools, campuses, or government facilities. Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, boilers, or mechanical room operations. Possession of trade certifications.
Pay:
$18.48 - $24.00 per hour
