Job Description
Substitute Maintenance Worker
AS NEEDED
Schedule:
Substitute/as needed; hours will vary
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform general building and grounds maintenance
Assist with minor repairs, painting, mowing, weed eating, and landscaping
Move furniture, equipment, supplies, and other materials
Help maintain clean, safe, and orderly school facilities
Assist with snow and ice removal when needed
Respond to maintenance requests as directed
Follow all school division safety procedures and policies
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred
General knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, and safe work practices
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, climbing, and working outdoors
Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred
Must successfully complete all required background checks
Three letters of reference required.
