Job Description

Job Overview New Branch Farms is an award-winning wedding and event venue where creating beautiful experiences starts with beautiful surroundings. We're looking for a dependable, hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, polished property and enjoys working outdoors. As our Groundskeeper / Maintenance Assistant, you'll work alongside our Grounds & Maintenance Manager to help keep our 23-acre property looking its best before, during, and after weddings and events. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys physical work, notices the little details, and understands that first impressions matter. Responsibilities Mow and maintain lawns Weed flower beds and landscaped areas Trim bushes, trees, and shrubs Edge sidewalks and landscaping Pick up sticks, trash, and debris throughout the property Keep the grounds clean, neat, and guest-ready Help prepare the venue before weddings and events Assist with setting up and putting away tables, chairs, arches, and other event items Perform light maintenance and other tasks as needed Work with the Grounds & Maintenance Manager on daily projects and seasonal improvements We're looking for someone who is: Dependable and punctual Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and be on their feet for extended periods Detail-oriented and takes pride in a job well done Able to work independently while also being a team player Experience operating lawn equipment is preferred but not required Schedule 16-32 hours per week Flexible weekday schedule Occasional weekends may be needed to prepare for or assist with events Why You'll Love Working Here Beautiful outdoor work environment Flexible scheduling Supportive, family-oriented team Opportunity to make a direct impact on creating unforgettable wedding experiences Competitive hourly pay based on experience If you're someone who enjoys working outdoors, likes to stay active, and takes pride in making a property look its absolute best, we'd love to hear from you!
