Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and proper functioning of our facilities and outdoor spaces. Your proactive approach will help maintain a safe, attractive, and well-maintained environment by performing a variety of maintenance, landscaping, and repair tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse set of tools and equipment, contributing directly to the overall appearance and safety of our property. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical components. Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, lawn care, tree trimming, gardening, and landscape upkeep to ensure vibrant outdoor spaces. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for tasks like installing or repairing hardscape features, fencing, or other structures. Operate equipment such as excavators / chainsaws during seasonal changes to maintain accessibility and safety. Carry out irrigation system inspections and repairs to support healthy plant growth. Assist with construction projects or renovations as needed, including site preparation and material handling. Provide snow plowing services during winter months to ensure clear pathways and parking areas. Support tree care activities including pruning, trimming, planting, or removal to promote healthy growth and safety. Maintain detailed records of work performed, supplies used, and inspections completed to ensure accountability and efficiency. Experience Proven experience in general maintenance or landscaping roles is preferred. Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing repairs effectively. Hands-on experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is highly desirable. Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction equipment is required. Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care practices, snow plowing techniques, and hardscape installation will set you apart. Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently is a plus.
