Job Description
Job Summary We're seeking an additional Real Estate Maintenance person for our residential and commercial properties. This position will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks including troubleshooting issues to uphold high standards of property quality. Your contribution will help create a comfortable, safe, and well-maintained environment for tenants, visitors, and the surrounding neighborhood. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify repair needs and ensure compliance with safety standards. Perform repairs and maintenance across various systems including (If knowledgeable and appropriate) electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair issues as they arise. Carry out residential painting projects to maintain property aesthetics and curb appeal. Perform routine and preventative maintenance activities. Maintain and service equipment. Assist with facilities management tasks such as cleaning, landscaping, or general upkeep to enhance property value. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to tenant requests and communicating clearly about repair timelines. Qualifications Dependability with a positive attitude is a must for this position. Proven experience (preferred) in facilities maintenance or building repair roles within residential or manufacturing environments. Electrical experience (preferred). Mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on skills in plumbing, HVAC systems, or carpentry. Excellent communication skills in English for clear communication and effective teamwork. Knowledge of residential painting techniques and general facilities upkeep practices is a plus.
