Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Staff member to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks. Your expertise will help sustain our building's interior, mechanical systems, electrical equipment, plumbing, and facilities infrastructure. Duties Repair and maintain facilities equipment including hand tools, electrical systems, plumbing fixtures. Carry out maintenance painting projects painting and touch-ups to uphold facility aesthetics. Operate electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose circuit issues accurately. Supervise or assist with maintenance painting projects, carpentry tasks, and other building interior maintenance activities. Lead or support team efforts in facilities maintenance operations while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management, providing excellent customer service throughout each interaction. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field within manufacturing or commercial environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interiors. Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting electrical circuits using tools like ohmmeters. Demonstrated ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently for various repair tasks including carpentry and welding projects. Supervising experience is a plus; ability to lead or coordinate small teams during maintenance projects is advantageous. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document work orders and collaborate with team members.
