A Maintenance Helper or Assistant assists maintenance mechanics. Repairs and maintains equipment and machines, such as cars or heating systems. May assemble or adjust machines as directed by a head mechanic.
Full time - Maintenance. Assistant to the Buildings and Grounds Director which includes performing basic facility maintenance, HVAC, repairs, preventive maintenance, grounds care , project work and custodial work Qualifications & responsibilities: Perform general maintenance and repairs in plumbing, electrical, cleaning, facility repair, grounds care and equipment operation. Carry out daily assigned tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision at times. Organize materials and supplies. Conduct regular property and safety inspections. Property maintenance and landscaping. Must be physically able to safely perform basic tasks including climbing ladders,lifting, carrying, bending, crouching, crawling and kneeling. Basic computer knowledge. Work in a team environment and support our common goal which is to provide a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our students, staff and campus guests.
Requirements:
Pass a criminal background check Valid Wisconsin driver's license and reliable transportation Willingness to work weekends as needed Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work Operate high lift

2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.,' Monday through Friday.
Summer hours:
6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Hours for non scheduled school days and snow days: negotiable. Occasional Saturdays may be required for winter sporting events.
