Job Description
The City of Madison Water Utility is looking to hire a Public Works Maintenance Worker 2! This position performs varied public works maintenance tasks, including: Custodial and janitorial work Cleaning of vehicles Inspection and assessment of reported water system problems Operating valves in the system to close off or reduce water flow to parts of the system Notifying members of the public about water supply problems and how they will be resolved Communicating with Leadworker, Supervisor and Operator to manage system problems Working with other staff as assigned to correct system problems
Work Hours:
10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.
- OR•Two (2) years of experience in applying the following: Types and operation of tools, equipment, and technique commonly used in public works maintenance work•custodial, vehicle cleaning, and water system maintenance.
