Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Staff member to ensure the optimal operation and safety of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance knowledge, with the ability to perform repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance tasks. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a safe, well-maintained environment that supports our residents' comfort and well-being. Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and building infrastructure to prevent issues before they arise. Assist with residential painting projects and other general facilities upkeep tasks to uphold the facility's appearance and safety standards. Perform required maintenance tasks in a timely manner as outlined in "Preventive Maintenance" log book. Assist with facility maintenance requests that will include but are not limited to: Supply new admits with wheelchair Wheelchair repair Equipment repair Transport and store supplies Plumbing requirements Building repairs - interior and exterior Carpet cleaning as needed Floor cleaning - dining areas daily Painting and wall touch-ups Perform preventive maintenance checks weekly, monthly, etc. Lawn care and weed care Snow removal Other duties as assigned Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a healthcare, manufacturing, or residential setting. Ability to read technical schematics accurately and interpret technical manuals effectively. Knowledge of residential painting techniques and general facilities upkeep practices. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
