Maintenance Assistant

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks and assisting with repairs. This position requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and property, including electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry. Assist with seasonal building preparation, including tent lights, A/V equipment, and door installations. Help with pool area maintenance. Repaint and maintain outdoor furniture. Snow removal around buildings on sidewalks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to supervise maintenance projects and ensure timely completion. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from staff or members. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 1+ years of experience in a maintenance, handyman, or facilities support role preferred. Basic skills in painting, light carpentry, general repairs, and equipment troubleshooting. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Comfortable using ladders, hand tools, and light power tools. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various indoor/outdoor conditions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
