The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance practices. This role requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, along with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. The Maintenance Person will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and functional environment for both staff and customers. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on various equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as needed. Interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues effectively. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computer system. Oversee residential painting projects to ensure quality standards are met. Deliver excellent customer service while interacting with staff and clients regarding maintenance needs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance, including mechanical knowledge and electrical experience. Strong understanding of schematics related to electrical and mechanical systems. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership. Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on quality workmanship. Welding skills are a plus but not mandatory.
