The Role Position:
Full-Time Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities Troubleshoot building mechanical problems effectively. Perform repairs and conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure satisfactory operations. Apply technical knowledge of electrical systems, as well as heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
Maintain Safety:
Follow all established safety rules, policies, and procedures of the maintenance department.
On-Call Duty:
Participate in the on-call rotation every other week.
Collaborate:
Complete other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director and Administrator. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Basic computer skills. Previous experience in a long-term care (LTC) setting is preferred but not required. Experience performing basic building repairs and maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, and painting. Completion of a maintenance apprenticeship is preferred. Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to maintenance needs in a timely manner. Complete Care is an equal opportunity employer.
