In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting school operations by performing light maintenance duties such as but not limited to assembling furniture completing minor repairs and yard work. Your work will directly contribute to creating a well-maintained and secure learning environment for students and staff. The Role Responsibilities In this position you will be responsible for maintaining our school campuses to ensure they remain safe, well-maintained, and functional for students, staff, and the community. Every day you will use hands-on skills that will in turn create a welcoming learning environment. You will experience a wide variety of maintenance duties that change with the needs of the schools. Responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing the school's outdoor and indoor environments to guarantee the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the facilities. Upholding health and safety regulations while responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner is critical to your success. Role Requirements The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma and a valid driver's license. Any post-secondary or related education is desired, but not required. The ideal candidate will have two or more years of maintenance related experience. If you are a skilled individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, we want to hear from you! You should be a self-starter that has a strong work ethic and honest morals. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail will be crucial in this role. You will also need strong computer skills in programs such as excel, word, and google. Knowledge of work order programs is preferred, but not required. You are able to troubleshoot and problem solve mechanical issues with or without the use of manuals. In this position, you will need to have the ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner for the safety of our students and staff members.
