Job Description

Job Overview:
The production and maintenance assistant works closely with management to add support to projects, assist with tooling set-ups and maintenance, keep machines running, load and unload shipments, and do many odd jobs. This person will help where needed, be trustworthy, reliable, a quick learner, do what needs to be done to get the job done, and shouldn't be afraid to get their hands dirty. Responsibilities & Duties (including, but are not limited to):
  • Be a master of many hats. Support various departments as needed.
  • Provide support to help manufacture and build custom parts and components for projects with various wood working, plastics, and metal working processes.
  • Would be some machine maintenance, building maintenance and housekeeping or groundskeeping type jobs.
  • Assisting with CNC machine set-ups, mold changes on machinery, and some minor PM work.
  • Driving a forklift or lift.
  • Assisting with packaging of parts and products for shipments.
  • Loading and unloading shipments with hand trucks and forklift.
  • Ensures patterns/molds/parts are in spec and may have to take part dimensions or do random quality inspections as needed. Will also help find solutions to any issues as they arise. Qualifications (including, but are not limited to):
  • Must be reliable, on-time, and ready to work each day in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have a valid drivers' license as employees may need to drive company vehicles.
  • Should have good attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, enjoy learning new things, be creative, and possess the ability to think "outside of the box."
  • Person must be able to multi-task.
  • Must have experience working with basic hand tools (drills, Dremel, saws, air tools, etc.), lathes, and so on. No specific experience is required and are willing to train the right individual to use all things needed to do job.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience welding - TIG, MIG
  • Previous manufacturing experience required.
  • Prefer you would be able to read basic prints/blueprints, and measurements.
  • Ability to work in a team environment but also work consistently on your own.
  • Would prefer to hire someone who has a passion for working on race cars, cars, trucks, farm equipment, etc.
This job is highly mechanical, so you must be able to work with your hands, get dirty, and not be afraid to use a little elbow grease.
Job Hours:
  • Full-Time, First Shift

Pay:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
