The opportunity Delaware North Gaming is looking for a full-time Maintenance Worker to join our team at Mardi Gras Casino in Cross Lanes, West Virginia . As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance duties throughout the property. What will you do? Paint, hang, and repair drywall as needed and install shelves, hooks, and closet rods Change light bulbs, replace fixtures, open clogged drains, and repair leaks Perform lawn maintenance including mowing and removing weeds Ensure tools and equipment are in working order and keep the maintenance room in neat condition Assist with loading or unloading trucks of maintenance parts and supplies More about you Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in general maintenance and repair for commercial facility required Previous experience with heavy or agricultural machinery preferred You must have a valid driver's license Must be be able to pass a drug screening Must be able to pass a background check Must be able to acquire a West Virginia lottery license Physical requirements Frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, and kneeling Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Standing and walking 100% of the time Must be able to work outside in all types of weather Shift details Days Holidays Evenings as needed Weekends 8hr shift Events OT as needed Who we are Delaware North operates Mardi Gras Casino and Resort dating back to 2018.
