Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician, where your mechanical expertise and problem-solving skills will keep our facilities running smoothly and efficiently. In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing a wide range of mechanical systems, appliances, and construction across our operations. Your proactive approach will ensure optimal performance of vehicle systems, beltlines, facilities, and other critical machinery, contributing to a safe and productive environment. We value hands-on technicians who are eager to take on diverse challenges and deliver exceptional service every day. Maintenance Technician Job Requirements Must have a valid driver's license. Willing to travel for work (mostly day trips; occasional overnight trips may be required). Willing to obtain a flagger's license if needed. Must be able to pass a drug screening. High school diploma or GED required (higher education is a plus). Experience in carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, masonry, or related construction work is preferred. Ability to operate or learn to operate machinery (e.g., skid steers, loaders, etc.). Able to lift heavy objects as part of the job. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Willing to work overtime as needed. Able to work in confined spaces and at heights. Able to work on uneven or wet terrain. Job Responsibilities Maintaining the grounds (e.g., weed-eating, brush clearing). Keep facilities and grounds in good working condition, following MSHA, state, and federal regulations. Perform routine service and maintenance on vehicles. Assist with general labor tasks in mining operations. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance installation and repair. Construction experience or background in building maintenance is a plus. Ability to operate equipment repair tools safely and effectively in various environments. Demonstrated customer service skills with a proactive attitude toward resolving issues efficiently while maintaining professionalism.
