1st Shift Maintenance Supervisor The Opportunity We're partnering with a well-established manufacturing client operation to hire a Maintenance Supervisor for a 1st shift role. This is a critical leadership position responsible for keeping production running, minimizing downtime, and leading a high-performing maintenance team. Local candidates only. What You'll Own Supervise daily maintenance operations, ensuring work orders are completed on time and production disruptions are handled quickly Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10-20 maintenance technicians Drive execution of preventive maintenance programs across production equipment and facility systems Schedule, assign, and monitor maintenance work to support production goals and reduce downtime Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards Partner with production and cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and resolve issues Track key maintenance metrics, including downtime, completion rates, and overall equipment performance What You Bring (Must-Haves) Proven experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and refrigeration systems Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced production setting and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns Experience managing preventive maintenance schedules and driving execution Solid leadership presence, you can hold a team accountable while developing their capabilities What Sets You Apart (Nice-to-Haves) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve equipment performance issues Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and reliability Compensation Competitive and aligned with experience.
