Lead Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Lead Location:

McCalla, AL Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Technician Lead to oversee maintenance operations within a large industrial and/or commercial facility. This role is responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of building systems, and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and provide daily direction to maintenance technicians. Coordinate and prioritize maintenance work orders to ensure timely completion. Perform and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and systems. Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and building system issues. Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to increase reliability and efficiency. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs and projects. Support facility improvement initiatives and capital projects. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency maintenance situations when required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bessemer, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $36.00/hr.
