Essential Duties Must demonstrate advanced knowledge of the Army Aviation Maintenance program to include scheduled maintenance management procedures, work order tracking and filing, maintenance man hour estimates, phase, progressive phase maintenance procedures, and ACN. Organizational/intermediate level maintenance. Exceptional knowledge in all areas of aviation, specifically quality control; production control, back shops, maintenance, logistics management, database administration, and safety. Dedicated self-starter Other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities This position has direct reports. Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience overseeing the diagnoses, troubleshooting and repair malfunctions in the armament, electrical and avionics systems and components including solid state and transistorized subsystems according to pertinent technical manuals, directives and safety procedures. Perform maintenance, authorized modifications and alignment on aircraft weapons components, fire control units, sighting elements, electronic, mechanical devices and avionics equipment for test. scheduled maintenance management procedures, work order tracking and filing, maintenance man hour estimates, phase, progressive phase maintenance procedures, and ACN. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Must have a minimum of 12 years verifiable experience working within the Army or Armed forces equivalent system with verifiable leadership experience. Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance. Additional Requirements Must be a graduate of a recognized school (civilian or military) for electronics/avionics maintenance, repair and overhaul and must demonstrate an ability to perform inspection, troubleshooting, major repair, modification, and overhaul of components in aircraft avionics, radio, NAVAID, radar, autopilot, electromechanical, Aviation Survivability Equipment, and instrument systems.
