Position Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities professional to support the Aviation & Missile Center (AvMC), Facilities (G4) and the G-6 Business and Digital Transformation initiative. This matrixed role requires a professional capable of integrating enterprise-level process improvements with deep understanding of facilities management including building, test laboratories and range facilities as well as experience in master planning and budgeting for government organizations. The selected candidate will support the modernization of facilities, test and range management, by improving workflows, coordinating across directorates, and supporting compliance with applicable DoD and Army facility, test laboratories and range regulations. They will also assist with aligning and standardizing enterprise processes, data structures, and system workflows while providing the G-4 office with critical master planning and facility expertise. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong proficiency in enterprise-level process improvement, including process mapping, value stream mapping (VSM), business process reengineering (BPR), and dependency mapping to support modernization efforts across the G-4 facilities mission. They must be skilled in facilitating cross-functional planning sessions and developing clear, compliant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that align with applicable facility maintenance policies. Strong facilities subject-matter-expert (SME) engagement is essential, with the ability to gather, interpret, and validate requirements across diverse stakeholders. Candidates should be capable of mapping and analyzing end-to-end facility, test laboratories, range, and construction management workflows.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in managing and maintaining government facilities, labs, and ranges, master planning, construction coordination, and conducting policy and regulation reviews to ensure alignment with DoD and Army facility requirements. Lean Six Sigma certification or comparable continuous-improvement experience is highly desirable. Experience developing enterprise workflows supporting integrated facility operations, and an understanding of facility regulations and processes

Redstone Arsenal Qualifications (Education & Years of Experience):
  • Must be able to attain a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Thorough knowledge of DoD and Army facility processes and policies.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently while managing multiple competing priorities.
