Shift Maintenance Shift Supervisor Job Duties:
Ability to supervise maintenance staff on shift. Ability to be a strong leader of a small group of people. Ability to work in Microsoft word and excel spreadsheets. Maintain cost effective practices that are compliant with quality, policies and procedures. Plan and schedule shift needs; utilizing employees, equipment and material in order to obtain quality products. Assign maintenance employees to jobs and instruct them in the proper procedures that will ensure quality, safety, and efficiency. Ensure plant safety by overseeing general working conditions. Ensure that all personnel are properly trained and have a full understanding of the processes they are involved in. Ensure that all personnel have a complete and full understanding of plant good manufacturing practices and HACCP programs. Ensure that all personnel have good communication skills with the ability to communicate to other departments. Ability to work with Quality Assurance and USDA. Ensure that all personnel support continuous improvement initiatives. Strong knowledge of electronics, motors, machinery, scales, freezers, among other maintenance related parts and equipment.
