Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Landscaping Maintenance Crew Lead, where you will take charge of maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces with energy and expertise. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a crew dedicated to creating beautiful, healthy landscapes through hands-on work and effective supervision. As a key team member, you will oversee daily maintenance operations, ensure quality standards are met, and motivate your team to deliver exceptional results. Your leadership will directly impact the aesthetic appeal and health of our clients' outdoor environments, making each project a showcase of your skills and dedication. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of landscaping crew members, assigning tasks and ensuring efficient workflow Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, edging, and planting to uphold high standards of appearance Oversee lawn care activities such as fertilization, aeration, and weed control to promote lush, healthy turf Manage irrigation systems—installation, repair, and routine adjustments—to ensure optimal water management Conduct tree care operations including pruning, removal, and health assessments to maintain safety and vitality Support landscape construction projects by assisting with site preparation, planting beds, and hardscape installations Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, cleaning, repairs, and proper storage to maximize longevity and safety Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities Mentor crew members in horticulture practices and landscape techniques to foster skill development and teamwork Skills Extensive experience in landscape maintenance and landscaping techniques Proven supervising experience leading outdoor crews effectively Strong knowledge of lawn care practices including fertilization, aeration, pest control, and mowing standards Familiarity with construction processes related to landscape projects Skilled in tree care methods such as pruning, cabling, removal, and health assessments Ability to operate irrigation systems efficiently and troubleshoot issues promptly Knowledge of gardening principles and horticulture best practices for diverse plant species Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent communication skills Commitment to safety procedures and proper maintenance routines for tools and equipment Bilingual a Plus This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about outdoor environments who thrive on leading teams to deliver outstanding landscape results. Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
