Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team with energy and precision. In this vital role, you will oversee the upkeep and operational integrity of our 110 room hotel, ensuring all equipment and systems run smoothly and efficiently. Your leadership will drive proactive maintenance strategies, foster a safety-first environment, and coordinate complex projects to optimize facility performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and management expertise in a fast-paced, innovative setting. Responsibilities Supervise daily maintenance operations across all areas of the hotel, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and low/high voltage equipment as well as pool and spa management. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track work orders, asset histories, and maintenance schedules. Lead troubleshooting efforts on industrial machinery by interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals; utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics. Manage a team of technicians by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing training on safety procedures, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Oversee the installation, repair, and upgrade of equipment and other automation systems critical to hotel processes. Coordinate project management activities for facility upgrades or new equipment installations while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Maintain high standards of safety by enforcing protocols related to high voltage and low voltage electrical work, ensuring adherence to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines. Skills Proven management experience in facilities or hotel maintenance environments with strong leadership capabilities. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits (including high voltage and low voltage), schematics interpretation, and hotel maintenance practices including pool and spa care. Proficiency with computer software for work order management and asset tracking. Solid understanding of HVAC systems for building climate control management. Ability to read technical schematics and wiring diagrams is essential. Strong project management skills to oversee multiple maintenance projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Excellent communication skills in English for effective team coordination and safety documentation. Hands-on experience using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting; familiarity with schematics is a must.
