MAINTENANCE INTERIOR SUPERVISOR DEPARTMENTS

Full Time
POSITION SUMMARY
Works under the direction of the Facilities Maintenance Director. Directs and supervises subordinate personnel in the maintenance and repair of the building; job is one of a working Supervisor. Supervises the installation, maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, physical structures, and plumbing systems of the establishment. Responsible for safety policy implementation and enforcement. Performs other duties as assigned. Must strive to conduct oneself in a manner that reflects the values of the organization by following the We-Ko-Pa Way when in the presences of fellow employees, casino and resort guests.
QUALIFICATIONS AND DUTIES
Must use proper tools and exercise good safety practices. Must have a valid Arizona driver s license and be cleared by the gaming center s insurance carrier to drive company vehicles. Must be knowledgeable with specific repair and maintenance of automotive equipment, plumbing, tile, millwork, metal fabricating and general building repairs. Must be able to operate a forklift. Will assist in maintenance projects at various other tribal enterprises as directed. Performs other duties as required. Required to create programs of preventive maintenance to reduce long-term costs. Required to train new employees in department as required. Required to comply with local, state, and federal codes applicable to building maintenance and construction. Must be able to work in a casino environment. Must be able to perform active physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Must pass a pre-employment drug test. Must be able to obtain/maintain State/Tribal Gaming License.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 5 years of experience

Preference will be given to qualified applicants who are members of federally recognized Indian tribes. To be considered for Indian Preference, you must submit your Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) with your application.
