We are seeking a hands-on leader to oversee the maintenance, repair, and reliability of production equipment and facility systems in a fast-paced aerospace and metal fabrication environment. This position plays a critical role in minimizing equipment downtime, supporting production, and ensuring compliance with AS9100, OSHA, and company quality standards. Schedule Full-Time | Day Shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm ) Overtime and occasional schedule flexibility may be required based on production needs. Responsibilities Lead and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Maintain and repair production equipment including: CNC Machines Press Brakes Punch Presses Welding Equipment Air Compressors HVAC Systems Install, modify, and relocate manufacturing equipment as needed. Perform plumbing, electrical, and facility maintenance, including lighting, structural repairs, and minor construction. Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, pneumatic drawings, and machine blueprints. Respond quickly to maintenance calls to minimize equipment downtime. Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document repairs using the maintenance ticketing system. Perform preventive maintenance inspections and maintain equipment service records. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE, Hazard Communication, and company safety policies. Maintain clean and organized work areas while following 6S and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) standards. Collaborate with production, engineering, and management teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency. Mentor and assist maintenance team members as needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Technical or Trade School Certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics preferred. 3-5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience maintaining metal fabrication equipment.
Strong troubleshooting skills involving:
Mechanical Systems Electrical Systems (Single & Three Phase up to 480V) Hydraulic Systems Pneumatic Systems Experience with plumbing, facility maintenance, and basic construction. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams. Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or maintenance ticketing software. Forklift Certification preferred. Basic computer skills required. Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus . Preferred Skills Experience in aerospace or metal fabrication manufacturing. Knowledge of AS9100 quality standards. Knowledge of OSHA and Cal/OSHA safety regulations. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement long-term corrective actions. Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the workday. Frequently use hands and arms to operate tools and equipment. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds . Ability to work safely around industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
