In this role, you will lead a team of maintenance technicians, ensure the reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plumbing, and other facility systems, and uphold safety standards across the facility. Your leadership will drive proactive maintenance practices, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations to maintain optimal facility performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage facilities maintenance teams in a fast-paced environment while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Duties Lead and manage the facilities maintenance team during assigned shifts, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely Coordinate daily maintenance operations including mechanical systems repair, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, and low/high voltage electrical work Utilize schedule work orders, track maintenance activities, and generate reports Lead troubleshooting efforts using schematics, engineering troubleshooting techniques, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations by conducting safety inspections, enforcing safety procedures, and maintaining proper documentation Oversee project management tasks related to facilities upgrades or repairs, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget Manage facilities maintenance procedures following industry standards for electrical systems, HVAC systems, plumbing, mechanical systems repair, and industrial maintenance practices Requirements Proven management experience leading facilities or maintenance teams in an industrial or manufacturing environment Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair and troubleshooting Proficiency in electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage wiring, schematics reading, and electrical troubleshooting tools such as Ohmmeters Familiarity with HVAC system repair and HVAC system management best practices Experience with work order management and reporting Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to industrial maintenance and facilities management Ability to read technical schematics and engineering diagrams accurately Excellent communication skills in English for team leadership and documentation purposes Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Strong leadership qualities with experience managing facilities maintenance teams and fostering a safety-first culture Join us as a Maintenance Shift Leader where your expertise will keep our facilities running smoothly!
